Retreat 2011– Return to the Jersey Shore!
Retreat 2011– A little football on the beach, a little sunbathing, and a lot of singing. SK frolicked in the sun and sand between 2-a-day rehearsals, solo auditions, and new officer elections. Chef James treated us to delicious meals while sommelier Catherine perfected our drink pairings. We were livin the life.
After a summer of “getting better,” the boyz were lookin fine. Their daily coffee runs introduced us to Linda at Surfside Coffee House– our new favorite breakfast locale on LBI! We ended the week with an impromptu performance for the staff and customers at Surfside– thanks for the coffee and cookies, Linda & Nicole!
Other memorable moments include KB’s birthday surprise, stargazing on the roof, jamming on guitars and ukeleles, and waking up to see the boys’ pink toes (hmmm, where did that come from??).
Neither mosquito bites, overdoses of jello and watermelon, nor getting locked in the bathroom could bring us down! Retreat 2011 brought us memories to last a lifetime. Frosh week here we come!
