SK in Hong Kong – 2009
This year for our annual intercession tour, we traveled halfway around the world to HONG KONG! Balancing a schedule of singing and sightseeing, we enjoyed getting to know some amazing people and exploring the city together.
First we had a whole day of performances at International Christian School and Hong Kong International School. We held a workshop for some of the kids to teach them a song that they later performed with us! Meanwhile, Ariel and Jack took turns getting gushed over by the female students.

We were lucky enough to be in HK during the Chinese New Year! We enjoyed parades, special fairs, and making wontons at Fiona’s house….although as Lily will tell you, “we missed the fireworks!”

We took two side trips off the island—to Macau for a little gambling, and Cheung Chau island for seafood and bike riding.

Of course, we made time to hit the town in HK’s Mid-levels, where we jammed to “I wanna make love Cinniss Krupp” and “Halo” on repeat.

Other special moments from the trip include experiencing Century Eggs, witnessing Cinniss’ love affair with apple pie, and performing for alumni and friends at the Hong Kong club.

We want to send a very special “thank you” to Fiona’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chan, for making this trip possible and for opening up their home to us. We can’t thank you enough for everything you did to help make this trip a success!
